Mother
What a loaded word.
What a living word.
Before any name we can pronounce, there is one who shelters us all. Mother Earth. Mother of all mothers. This humanity that calls itself superior builds its empires upon her body. And she keeps giving.
I am a man. I will never know what it is to carry life inside me. But it was witnessing the birth of my daughter that I truly understood what it means to be a mother.
Not with my mind.
With my whole being.
There is a wisdom there that no book contains, no system can replicate, no technology will ever replace.
In a world that constantly tries to play God and control what it does not understand, it is the mothers who guard the mystery of creation.
I trust you deeply.
I hope you trust yourselves as much as I trust you all.
To my mother, for giving me the life that brought me here.
To the mother of my daughter, for showing me what is sacred.
To all the mothers who came before.
To all those who are yet to come.
Gratitude.
