This Friday I’ll be welcoming a lovely group of lovely people to beautiful Central Portugal for our Move, Nourish & Restore Wellness Retreat. ✨

A weekend of Pilates, rebounding, aqua movement, meditation, beautiful countryside, nourishing food, Qi Gong, sound healing, relaxation, connection and plenty of time to simply switch off and restore. 💛

After all the planning, I can’t quite believe it’s almost here! I’m so excited to welcome everyone and share this special weekend together. 🥰

I’ve been absolutely delighted with the response to my recent post looking for massage models for October.

Thank you so much to everyone who has messaged me, volunteered, shared my post and followed my page. Your support for Maria’s Holistic Harmony Wellness Centre means so much to me. 🌿

I’ve received many more responses than I expected, and I’ll be going through all the messages and arranging the model appointments shortly.

I’m really looking forward to welcoming my models to Hotel Convento da Sertã and getting back to practising these lovely treatments. 💆‍♀️✨

🌿 MASSAGE MODELS WANTED – OCTOBER 🌿

I’m looking for a few lovely volunteers to help me refresh and practise some massage techniques that I haven’t used for a while.

During October at The Convento Hotel, I’m looking for:

✨ 3 models – Indian Head Massage
🕯️ 3 models – Warm Massage Candle Treatment
🌿 3 models – Thai Herbal Compress Massage

All treatments will be completely FREE.

These sessions are simply an opportunity for me to get some hands-on practice and refresh my techniques, while you get to enjoy a relaxing complimentary treatment. 💆‍♀️

As I only need 3 people for each treatment, spaces will be limited.

A consultation will be carried out beforehand to make sure your chosen treatment is suitable for you.

🌸 Women’s Health Evening: Navigating Perimenopause & Understanding BHRT 🌸

Are you in your 40s, 50s or 60s and experiencing changes such as brain fog, mood changes, hot flushes, reduced libido or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right?

Join us for an informative and empowering evening with Dr. Gael Smits, who will be talking about perimenopause, menopause and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT).

Gael is a Board-Certified specialist in Emergency Medicine and an IOBIM Certified Menopause Practitioner, with over five years’ experience in holistic health. He has a particular interest in combining traditional medicine with modern, evidence-based approaches to help women navigate perimenopause and beyond.

During the evening, Gael will cover:

✨ What perimenopause is and the hormonal changes taking place
✨ BHRT versus traditional HRT — what’s the difference?
✨ Potential short- and long-term benefits
✨ Possible risks and considerations
✨ The different options available to women
✨ Time for your questions

The aim of the evening is to help women better understand their choices and feel more informed when making decisions about their health.

After the talk, there will be time to relax, chat and socialise over drinks and light nibbles.

From 11–13 September, we’ll be escaping to the beautiful countryside of Central Portugal for a weekend created around movement, nourishment, relaxation and simply having some time for YOU. 💛
