Sticky Miso Turkey Rice Dopamine Bowl 🥣
Hope you’re loving the Food for Mood Series with me and 🧡💙 Make sure you follow us both. 💫
This is one of the most delicious bowls I’ve made this summer and the marinade makes it guys. So let me know if you try it! 💫
Serves 4
💫Sticky Miso Turkey
500g lean turkey mince
1 tbsp sesame oil
3 garlic cloves, minced or 1 tsp of garlic puree
1 tbsp grated ginger or ginger puree
2 tbsp white miso paste
2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil for oiling the frying pan
💫Bowl ingredients
1/2 small red cabbage, finely shredded
2 carrots shredded
1 orange or red pepper diced
1 cucumber diced
200g edamame beans
Extra sesame seeds
💫Sesame rice
2 microwave bags of sticky rice
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 spring onions, finely sliced to top.
1 lime to squeeze all over and few drops of soy sauce when all assembled.
💫Method
1. Prep all your veg and set aside.
2. Combine and mix well all the sticky miso ingredients for the turkey. You can either add the turkey here and marinade for a while or brown the turkey first and then pour over sticky mixture when the turkey has browned off in the pan.
3. Cook your sticky rice as per packet instructions. I don’t have a microwave, so I emptied the contents of the packets into a frying pan with a little bit of water and sesame oil. The rice cooks in the pan within 2-4 minutes.
4. Assemble the bowls as you see and then I topped with lime juice, sesame seeds, spring onion and a few drops of soy sauce!
