Our soul uses the body and the life forces like an instrument. Internally, this gives rise to our own experiences. Externally, the soul uses the body and forces for communication and movement. Both are its expressions, just as growth and reproduction are expressions of life.

Today I had a very beautiful experience,
I went to visit the place where I spent most of my summer holidays, the place my grandfather rebuilt and which is now a retreat centre.
As I walked through the entrance, tears welled up.

Who would have thought to a seven-year-old girl that all that work had a much greater purpose? and that it was written in my footsteps to be there today.
It was beautiful to enter, to see and revisit the tiles that I saw broken, all fitted together, the details of the stucco that only my grandfather used to make, and the cork oaks that still cross the land of this farm with my family’s land where I use to plant with him. My ancestors gave me so much, and they left me something I’ll never forget: when you do something with love, you open up a path of light for the following generations ❤️

“The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery,
but a process of creation.

You are not discovering yourself,
but creating yourself anew.

Seek therefore,
not to find out
Who You Are,
but seek to determine
Who You Want to Be.”

Neale Donald Walsch

An intimate, sublime retreat that feature prominent women in science, combining their teachings with holistic practices to nourish mind, body and soul.

Experience a transformative approach to learning— medicinal plants for women’s health, fertility, menopause connected to nature and community.

When we consider a woman’s health from cradle to the grave, it can feel overwhelming to understand all her changes, transitions, fluctuations and conditions, and to begin to address or resolve them. In this retreat, we explore how women’s primary hormones and most gynecological conditions and experiences can be sorted into two underlying categories from perspectives that combine Ayurveda, nāḍi theory, Chinese Medicine, and Western science.
We will also explore yoga, breath techniques and art.

Dates: 11-14 May 2025

Villa Epicurea, Meco, Portugal.

Susceptibility

Each of us has individual needs, but when we consider our physical and emotional well-being, we often don’t pay attention to these specific needs. We don’t all need the same medication, we don’t all need the same type of diet or the same hours of sleep each night, we don’t all withstand life’s pressures in the same way, we each have our weaknesses and points of weakness and we respond differently to life’s events.
Sensitivities are part of each person’s constitution, the unique and individual mask of the physical, mental and emotional characteristics of each one of us.
By recognising how each individual responds, we can understand the best treatment to cure the cause in question.
