Even though I’ve spent 60% of my lifetime in the healing arts—teaching, guiding, and holding others through profound transformation—I know what it’s like to struggle with a body that feels mysterious, unruly, or out of harmony.
I know what it’s like to wake up swollen and tender, my belly distended, my skin holding water and inflammation, wondering how I could feel so heavy while eating a pure, clean vegan diet.
I remember looking in the mirror and feeling confused and discouraged, quietly asking, Why is this happening to me?
And I know what it’s like to lay down at night replaying every meal, every emotion, every unspoken stress. Wondering if my symptoms were ancestral, karmic, or simply my sensitive system responding to the pressure of life. I would fall asleep trying to decode the secret language of my own digestion.
It got so bad that I spent thousands trying to find relief—bodywork, chiropractic care, breathwork, any modality that might soothe the physical discomfort and halt the structural changes in my body.
So yes… I know how painful it can be.
And then came the turning point—the moment everything shifted.
I discovered Ayurvedic Medicine.
Or perhaps… She discovered me.
My digestion softened. Bloat disappeared. Inflammation melted. Weight released without strain. My natural definition reappeared—abs, legs, the gentle sculpting that happens when the body feels safe, supported, and understood.
At 25, I met Dr. Vasant Lad, my teacher and guru, and began hosting his workshops throughout the 1980s in Laguna Beach. By that time I had already spent a decade devoted to Jnana, Bhakti, Raja, and Iyengar Yoga.
But Ayurveda… Ayurveda was the nectar. The missing rasa.
The medicine I didn’t know my soul was waiting for.
I learned that our constitutional nature is our map.
That “good foods” are only good for the right constitution.
That healing requires intimacy with one’s own essence—not discipline, not restriction, not force.
I remembered who I truly was.
A Yogini across lifetimes.
A lover of the Divine Mother.
A seeker of the deepest beauty, the purest truth.
Ayurveda took me into Her ancient arms and carried me home to myself. She taught me that healing is devotion, relationship, and reverence for the body as a living temple.
And now, this is the work I offer.
Not quick fixes.
Not trends.
Not one-size-fits-all protocols.
But a return to your own rasa—your beauty, your truth, your elemental design.
If you’re feeling called to understand your body with this level of depth…
If you’re tired of guessing, trying, restricting, or forcing…
If you feel that your body is speaking a language you haven’t yet learned to interpret…
Then I would love to walk with you.
