5 ways to make green smoothies actually happen 🥬✨
Because “I’m too busy” is a plan to fail.
If you know me, you know.
Green smoothies are my favourite way to get a serious hit of fibre, micronutrients, antioxidants + plants into my day. They don’t have to be complicated.
Here’s how I make them ridiculously easy:
01. STOCK THE GREEN STUFF 🥬
Make greens a grocery-list non-negotiable. Spinach, kale, cucumber, herbs—keep them ready to go.
Pro tip: Let vegetables do the heavy lifting. Fruit is for flavour, not to turn your smoothie into a liquid fruit salad.
02. FREEZE YOUR SWEETNESS 🍌🥭
Overripe bananas? FREEZER.
Tropical fruit getting a little too ripe? FREEZER.
Frozen fruit gives your smoothie that naturally sweet, creamy, almost milkshake-like texture without needing a ton of ingredients.
03. MAKE 5 SMOOTHIE PACKS ONCE ✋🏼
This is the lazy-girl genius move.
Prep five bags with your greens, fruit + extras for the week. Freeze.
Then each morning: dump → add liquid → blend → GO.
Ten minutes of prep = five mornings of “look at me being so put together.”
04. PREP IT THE NIGHT BEFORE 🌙
Load your blender with everything except the liquid. Pop it in the fridge.
Wake up, add your liquid, blend and walk out the door.
Because your morning deserves less chaos and more nourishment.
05. GET THE RIGHT TOOLS 🔪🥤
A big cutting board. Sharp knife. And a really good blender.
I love my Vitamix Canada Vitamix use it a lot. 😂 A high-speed blender gives you that silky-smooth green smoothie texture. But no fancy blender? No excuses. Just chop your veggies smaller and blend a little longer.
The secret isn’t finding the perfect smoothie. It’s making the healthy choice the EASY choice.
Prep once. ✅Stock your kitchen. 💚Make it ridiculously convenient.💪
