You can be extraordinary and still not be what someone was looking for. That isn't a flaw in you. It's just a mismatch in what they wanted.
We spend so much time trying to become more, thinking if we just improve enough, refine enough, perfect enough of ourselves, we'll finally be chosen.
But sometimes it was never about improvement at all.
Someone can look at your full, vivid, undeniable beauty and still walk right past it, not because you lacked anything, but because they were always looking for something else entirely. A different color. A different shape. A different kind of person who was never going to be you, no matter how hard you tried to become it.
That's a hard truth to sit with. But it's also a freeing one.
Because it means their rejection was never proof of your inadequacy. It was proof that you weren't what they wanted, which is an entirely different thing than not being enough.
The prettiest shade of green will never satisfy someone who only wants blue. And that's not a reflection of the green's worth.
It just means it was looking for the wrong person to be chosen by.
Somewhere, someone is looking for exactly your shade, exactly your color, exactly what you already are without needing to change a single thing.
