⚠️ HANTAVIRUS AWARENESS ⚠️

Hantaviruses are viruses carried by rodents that can cause serious illness in humans. Infection may occur through contact with infected rodents or exposure to their urine, droppings, or saliva.

🚨 Common Symptoms:
• Fever and muscle aches
• Headache
• Nausea or vomiting
• Cough and shortness of breath

🛡️ Prevention Tips:
✔ Keep homes and workplaces clean
✔ Seal openings to prevent rodents from entering
✔ Store food properly
✔ Practice proper hand hygiene
✔ Avoid sweeping dry rodent droppings — disinfect the area first

While infections are uncommon, hantavirus can lead to severe respiratory illness and requires immediate medical attention if symptoms develop after rodent exposure.
