✨ I started practicing aerial yoga about three years ago, driven purely by curiosity. Having already experienced traditional yoga, I wondered how this practice could be lifted from the ground into the air. I wasn't sure whether I would enjoy it, or even embrace it deeply enough to one day share it with others.

Everything changed after completing a teacher training with the incredibly talented in my hometown. It opened up a whole new way of experiencing yoga 🙏.

 💫 The words that best describe aerial yoga for me are playfulness and endless possibilities. 💫The hammock becomes a versatile tool that supports exploration, movement, strength and freedom. 

💫Through both my personal practice and teaching journey, I've discovered that traditional teachings can be adapted to different mediums while preserving their essence.  The key is to stay open, experiment, adapt, enjoy the process, and remain curious.

🌿 When your perspective shifts, new possibilities appear. Step by step, you may find yourself becoming an aerialist without even realizing it.

In today’s fast-paced world - defined by constant demands, mental overload, and increasingly sedentary habits - back pain and discomfort have become widespread, significantly diminishing overall quality of life.
✨The spine is the central pillar of the body’s support system. It protects the spinal cord, absorbs mechanical stress, and enables  mobility and flexibility. Beyond its structural role, the spine shapes our posture and subtly influences the positioning and function of our internal organs.
✨Maintaining a healthy spine over time requires more than occasional effort, it calls for cultivating resilience through intentional movement, as well as developing a refined awareness of the body’s signals and needs.
✨From the perspective of the yoga tradition, a consistent practice of asanas (physical postures) that mobilize the spine in all its natural directions, combined with conscious, mindful breathing, supports the balanced flow of prana (vital energy) throughout the body. This integrated approach allows us to work holistically while also addressing specific areas of tension with precision. The result is a gradual release of accumulated strain in the back, accompanied by increased ease, strength, and vitality.
✨Many practitioners experience noticeable relief from pain and discomfort even after the first sessions. However, lasting results depend on regular and sustained practice.
✨These benefits can be further enhanced by maintaining proper postural alignment in everyday activities, supporting the body with adequate nutrition and hydration, choosing ergonomic work environments, and avoiding excessive strain, such as lifting beyond one’s personal capacity.
✨Therapeutic yoga for the back ultimately strengthens the body-mind-breath connection. This reconnection fosters a state of presence, relaxation, and renewed energy while building confidence in the body’s innate capacity for healing and transformation through movement.

Apoi se întâmplă un lucru mai important, devii meditativ,  timp în care acest act conștient de meditație devine subconștient. This class is an invitation to return to 'sthira' and 'sukha' - steadiness and ease. Through conscious breath, prāṇāyāma, slow and mindful āsana, and moments of stillness, we cultivate balance not only in the body, but in the mind and nervous system.

Yofa for Calm & Balance supports the transition from the outer rhythm of the day to a more inward, present state, encouraging awareness, softness, and grounded attention. The practice is gentle yet intentional, guided by breath and aligned with the principles of mindful movement and self-observation, 'svādhyāya'.

✨Beginning the New Year with yoga is an invitation to pause, reflect, and set heartfelt intentions, sankalpa, as you step into the year ahead.
✨We’ll welcome 2026 with a dynamic yet nourishing practice to gently warm the body and ease the transition back into rhythm after the holidays. Expect a full-body flow with standing balances, hip openers, backbends, and inversions, woven together with moments of stillness and awareness to help clarify and anchor your intentions.
✨This practice invites curiosity and intention honoring where you’ve been while opening to what’s ready to unfold. Move forward with clarity, grounding, and renewed purpose, one conscious breath at a time.
✨We’ll close with guided reflection, allowing your intentions to settle not just in the mind, but in the body and heart — carrying this sense of alignment with you beyond the mat.
