Fă-te, suflete, câmp întins
Până la mare !
Fă-mi-te, suflete, stâncă
zburând în soare !
În centrul rotirilor de vulturi
eu îmi ridic șira spinării
și pleoapele mi le deschid,
așa cm aș spune iubitei mele:
– Te iubesc !
ca să năvălească lumea în mine, urlând
Ce adânc sunt, Doamne, ce adânc !
Nesfârșită văgăună luminoasă sunt,
au loc și arborii și hergheliile
și turmele…
De-acia merg clătinându-mă puțin,
pipăind trunchiurile, până jos
de unde-ncepe pământul.
Ce de întâmplări în sufletul meu !
De-aceea îmi întind mâinile
înfigându-le în pământ, de-aceea
ridic pământul până la buze…
Și ce de întâmplări în sufletul meu!
