Ilizarov center Orthopaedic research and treatment The method has been currently applied in more than 40 countries worldwide.

The Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics of the RF Ministry of healthcare and social development is home to the method of transosseous osteosynthesis or Ilizarov method. The RISC RTO deals with a great range of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, starting from fractures of any location or complexity and finishing with bone tumors. Annually, over 9,000 people receive treatment and rehabilitation at the RISC RTO. Patients of any country and age group, from infants to senior citizens, can apply for treatment at our Center.
