High-Tech Dietary Supplement Manufacturing Beyond the Arctic Circle: ECM Counting & Filling Line for Polaris

In 2023, Polaris — a leading Russian manufacturer of dietary supplements — partnered with InterPharmTechnology to execute a large-scale production automation project. The cornerstone of this initiative was the supply and commissioning of a state-of-the-art counting and filling line, enabling significant portfolio expansion and a measurable boost in production efficiency.

The project was delivered end-to-end in just 8 months. Close collaboration with the client underpinned every stage: technical specification alignment, equipment fabrication, factory acceptance testing (FAT), logistics, on-site installation, and site acceptance testing (SAT). A key component of the solution was the TC-120W — a high-precision, multi-channel electronic counting system with integrated checkweighing.

The new line empowered Polaris to:

✅ Scale up production volumes
✅ Broaden its product portfolio
✅ Achieve greater flexibility when handling diverse packaging formats

Communication with the client remained highly constructive throughout, ensuring on-time delivery despite tight deadlines — notably, line installation had to commence immediately upon completion of finishing works in the new production facility.

Five Business Trends Shaping High-Tech Equipment Supply in 2026

Organizations that successfully navigated the market turbulence of recent years are now poised to consolidate their competitive edge and accelerate growth. The 2022–2023 period was defined by supply chain disruption and rapid, often reactive, import substitution. 2024 marked a phase of strategic adaptation, while 2025 served as the definitive stress test for equipment suppliers and system integrators.

Throughout this cycle, importers faced compounding pressures: sanctions regimes, cross-border payment bottlenecks, and fragmented logistics corridors. Companies that preserved equipment quality, delivery reliability, and regulatory compliance under these constraints have earned a clear path to market leadership in the industrial and pharmaceutical equipment sectors.

Drawing on current market dynamics and direct feedback from our manufacturing clients, Dmitry Dyakonov, CEO of InterPharmTechnology, outlines five key trends that will define the high-tech equipment supply landscape in 2026.

✔️Industrialization 2.0: From Volume to Innovation
✔️A New Logistics Philosophy
✔️The Economics of Rationality
✔️The “Pivot from China”
✔️Service as the Cornerstone of Operational Resilience

Why are pharmaceutical companies keen to produce veterinary medicines, and what challenges do they face

The exit of several international players from certain markets has created new opportunities for rapid growth in domestic veterinary pharmacology. Some manufacturers, traditionally focused on human medicines, have chosen to scale up and begin producing veterinary products. Yet such a transition is far from straightforward.

Anna Drozdova, a Head of Process Equipment Sales in InterPharmTechnology, shares her insights with GxP News on why this is so.
