The company operates in Musanze District, Northern Province, and specializes in the manufacturing of organic beauty, soaps, and cosmetic products using herbal raw materials and agro-industrial waste.
The business was founded by Nsengukuri Elie and Mushimiyimana Emima with the aim of promoting environmental sustainability, job creation for youth and women, and adding value to Rwanda’s agricultural outputs. Amaboko y’uRwanda transforms raw materials like avocados, aloe vera, carrots, honey, banana peels, and waste from oil-producing agro-industries into eco-friendly hygiene and beauty products.
Under the brand name "BRIGHT," the company produces a range of products including Bright Hair Jelly, Body Jelly, Laundry Bar Soap, Liquid Detergents, and Toilet Cleaner. Currently, it works with over 400 farmers, 80 avocado suppliers, and 9 agro-industries. The company employs 12 permanent and 26 casual workers, serving more than 98,000 customers across Rwanda, with ambitions to expand regionally and internationally.The company’s mission includes climate conservation, zero waste promotion, hygienic awareness, and supporting Made-in-Rwanda initiatives through natural and affordable products.
