Unlock Aid’s Food Security & Nutrition Solutions Index is out, highlighting 25 organisations working across food systems, nutrition, supply chains and distribution.

We’re proud to see Zipline recognised among the innovators building more reliable ways to deliver essential care.

In Rwanda, Zipline’s on-demand delivery network has helped strengthen the malnutrition care journey by improving access to Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), supporting earlier diagnosis and treatment, and helping more children receive care in time.

Thank you to Unlock Aid for creating a practical resource for donors, policymakers and partners looking for proven solutions that can scale.

Too often, Africa is treated as the last market to invest in. In reality, it is where some of the world’s hardest operating problems are being solved in real time.

As argues, Zipline’s work in Rwanda shows what becomes possible when innovation is built and proven in the conditions it is meant to serve.

Autonomous delivery was not just tested. It scaled, generated years of real-world data, and helped show how stronger supply chains can expand access to healthcare across Africa.

The hard truths make it abundantly clear, there’s no going back!
This isn’t a moment of confusion, it’s a moment of decision — lament the past or build a new, better future.
Honored to be part of this cohort of leaders sharing these uncomfortable truths and building new, better ways forward.

Every delivery tells a story.

This one began with an urgent request for blood for a two-year-old in Nembe, in critical condition. With no matching blood available and time running out, the Zipline team responded immediately, launching a drone within minutes to deliver B+ red blood cells through the night.

The child stabilized and hope was restored.

When in need, Zipline delivers. 🚀
