Fun facts from my Six Senses Southern Dunes stay 🌵
A few days in The Red Sea desert Im
back with more than just a tan!
1️⃣ There are red foxes living in these dunes. 😅 اسمه الحصني مو الثعلب الأحمر 🦊 I never spotted one! Apparently they’re shy, but the suspense to might spot one was half the fun.
2️⃣ Umluj produces incredible mangos! & it’s mango season right now. I was not expecting “best mango I’ve ever had” to be from right next door; from The Red Sea, but here we are!
3️⃣ I made my own body scrub from scratch, using local, homegrown ingredients. Officially switching to natural! No more random jars from the store.
4️⃣ Making your own sauerkraut, kombucha, and probiotics at home is super easy! with whatever you already have in your kitchen. Genuinely did not realize it could be this simple (and this YUMM).
5️⃣ Sustainability here isn’t just a buzzword on a wall, it’s the whole operation. The resort runs entirely on its own solar farm, bottles its own plastic-free water on-site, and the kitchen is so committed to low-impact ingredients that avocados aren’t even on the menu (apparently their farming footprint is too heavy). I didn’t expect a hotel to make me think about my groceries differently.
6️⃣ The Wellness Journey itinerary is not a spa day, it’s a whole reset, meditation, treatments, and moments built around actually slowing down, not just “relaxing” on paper.
7️⃣ It took me 3 hours & 15 minutes door to door from Jeddah. THAT’S IT. Jeddah peeps!! this is way easier than you think. A full wellness escape, this close, this convenient. No excuse not to do a weekend reset.

We are delighted to invite you to a deep meditation one night retreat ✨

An All-Night Gong Journey 💚 in which you delve into your depths.

This is not just an overnight retreat, but a transformative journey between sound and silence, and an opportunity to immerse yourself within you.
The Gong Puja will last for 7/5 Gong Puja involves continuous sound meditation for 7 ½ hours, equivalent to 10 consecutive 45-minute gong sessions.

You will be immersed in the gentle sound of gongs and other harmonious instruments, providing your body with the opportunity to enter a deep state of relaxation. The vibrations will cleanse you, unblock your energy, help your body become more open, and free you from the stresses and pressures of daily life.

During this meditative journey, you will lie down and meditate, experiencing a deep state of relaxation and stillness that leads to profound listening, enjoyment, calmness, balance, and healing.
