Sa Saudi Arabia, maraming Kababayan housemaids ang araw-araw lumalaban sa lungkot at homesickness.
Malayo sa pamilya.
Malayo sa anak.
Malayo sa sariling tahanan.
Pero tuwing day-off…
may sandaling kaligayahan.
Isang tasa ng kape.
Isang tawanan kasama ang kapwa OFW.
Isang kwentuhan tungkol sa Pilipinas.
Isang litrato para ipaalala na “Kaya ko pa.”
Sa mga sandaling iyon, nawawala kahit kaunti ang bigat ng pagod.
Napapalitan ng lakas ang lungkot.
At muling nabubuhay ang pangarap—para sa pamilya, para sa kinabukasan.
Sa bawat ngiti ng isang Kababayan housemaid sa Saudi, may kwento ng sakripisyo, tapang, at pag-asa.
