Most people think gut healing is the whole journey. It's not.

Gut healing gets you from 100% symptoms down to 50%. Maybe even further. But at

some point the priority shifts.

Because even after the inflammation calms down, you've still got joints that haven't

moved properly in years. Tissues that need to be rebuilt. And no amount of supplements

or protocols is going to fix that.

That's when exercise becomes the bridge. Movement. Strength. Blood flow to joints that

have been through years of damage.

If you've done the hard work on your diet and lifestyle and you're feeling much better but

not fully there yet... this is probably what's missing.

The finish line isn't reached by doing more gut healing. It's reached by rebuilding the

body inflammation left behind. 💪

Quintana Roo things 🌴

And honestly... we're not mad about it.

Every single time. Joint pain goes first, then the psoriasis follows. Every time.

One of the biggest misconceptions about elimination diets is that the goal is to figure out

all the foods you can't eat.

That's not my goal at all.

In fact, my goal is the exact opposite.

I want you to be able to eat MORE healthy foods, not fewer.

The reason we temporarily narrow the diet in the beginning is to create the best possible

environment for gut healing.

Think about it.

If your gut is irritated, inflamed, and reacting to everything you put into it, the last thing

you want to do is keep throwing more variables into the mix.

Simplifying the diet gives the gut a chance to recover.

Yes, it can also help identify foods that worsen symptoms.

But that's a secondary benefit.

The primary objective is accelerating the healing process.

Because here's what most people miss:

Food sensitivities are often a symptom of the problem.

Not the problem itself.

As the gut heals, many people find they can tolerate foods that previously caused issues.

That's why success isn't measured by how many foods you've eliminated.

Success is measured by how many healthy foods you've been able to add back in.

The goal isn't lifelong restriction.

The goal is food freedom.

The goal is a healthy gut that can handle a wide variety of nutritious whole foods without

creating symptoms.

SONG: The Final Stage of healing rheumatoid arthritis

One of the most frustrating parts of rheumatoid arthritis is watching your

body get smaller and weaker despite your best efforts.

You lose muscle.

You lose strength.

You lose weight.

And eventually you start thinking the solution is just to eat more.

But if active inflammation is still driving the problem, it's often not that simple.

I've worked with a lot of people who were desperately trying to gain weight.

More calories.

More snacks.

More food.

But the weight wasn't coming.

Why?

Because their body was still stuck in a state of chronic inflammation.

The game changed when they started improving their health and

rebuilding their ability to exercise.

Because once you can move more comfortably, something important happens:

You start stimulating your muscles again.

And muscle is expensive tissue.

Your body doesn't build it unless you give it a reason to.

That's why strength training is so important.

Not because you're trying to become a bodybuilder.

Because you're giving your body a signal:

"These muscles are needed."

When that signal is combined with good nutrition and improving health,

weight gain often becomes dramatically easier.

Your appetite improves.

Your energy improves.

Your ability to train improves.

And your body finally has a reason to start rebuilding.

If you're struggling to gain weight with rheumatoid arthritis, don't just ask:

"How can I eat more?"

Ask:
"How can I create an environment where my body actually wants to build muscle again?"
