I meet many people who believe happiness will come after they successfully rearrange some part of their lives.
Sometimes those changes are worthwhile. But even when we get what we thought we needed, the feeling does not always last.
From a yogic perspective, happiness is less about what we acquire and more about the consciousness through which we experience life.
That does not mean pretending everything is pleasant. It means developing an inner place that is not completely controlled by every changing circumstance.
There are practical ways to cultivate that.
