How can dental labs make digital implant workflows more predictable and choose the right restorative components for each case?

Last Friday, around 20 participants came together for an event focused on digital implant prosthetics with Quadrocad Fräscenter, 3Shape, CADstar, and Elos Medtech

For participating dental labs and clinics, it was an opportunity to exchange experiences, explore solutions, and discuss practical considerations for their everyday digital workflows. 🤝

Sessions included a closer look at the Elos Accurate® ScanBody 22 and Hybrid Base G™, allowing participants to explore how these components could fit into their implant prosthetic workflows.

Digital Implant Workflows in Focus at FAIN Dental

On 12 September, we had the pleasure of joining an exclusive one-day seminar on the future of digital dentistry - covering implantology, intraoral scanning, digital restorative workflows, and modern treatment concepts.

A key takeaway from the day was clear: clinicians are looking for digital workflows that are efficient, reliable, easy to integrate, and designed to support consistent outcomes.

Together with 20 dentists and five invited partners, we exchanged insights, presented on digital implant workflows, and highlighted Elos Accurate® ScanBody22, sparking valuable discussions around scan accuracy and workflow integration.

Digital precision only creates value if it survives the transition into reality

An accurate digital design can still lead to an inaccurate physical result if the implant analog does not fit precisely into the printed model.

And this is where things get challenging.

Different printers, materials, printing parameters and model geometries can introduce variations in the printed model, particularly around the analog interface.

The Elos Accurate® Printed Model Analog (PMA) was developed to address exactly this point. Instead of relying solely on a precisely defined model hole, its self-centering design actively engages with the printed model material during insertion. This allows the analog to accommodate variations in the printed model while remaining securely positioned and locked against rotation.

The goal is not to make the printer perfect.
The goal is to make the analog-to-model interface more robust.

More than 100 colleagues gathered on-site in Gørløse, Denmark, for an insightful presentation by Ahmad Channir, Laboratory Manager at Jaka Dental ApS in Copenhagen.

Ahmad shared his hands-on experience with Elos Accurate® products, showing how they are integrated into his daily dental laboratory workflow and how they create value in real-life customer use.
