I see it as a compliment. But people who call themselves artists don’t copy, they steal.
A copied version will never be as good as the original 🤟

We finally finished the upper arm after building it over the past couple of years

The journey started with the inner arm in 2024, followed by the outer arm last year. Seeing it all come together has been incredibly rewarding 🙌

Small tattoo but meaningful

Mono no aware is a Japanese aesthetic concept which roughly means “a bittersweet awareness of impermanence”. It describes the gentle sadness but also acceptance that arises when you realize that all beautiful moments, things, and life itself are short and impermanent, but also a stronger appreciation for them because of that.

In Spirited Away, this frame captures that feeling perfectly: sitting on the train, knowing the moment will soon be gone and can never be experienced in quite the same way again.

A bittersweet reminder to be present 🙌
