Made specially for the first anniversary of the passing of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, "I Have Arrived, I Am Home" is a new documentary from filmmaker Max Pugh (A Cloud Never Dies, Walk With Me). The film includes footage and commentary on Thich Nhat Hanh's return to his native Vietnam, where he lived from 2018 until his passing on 22 January 2022.

The international Plum Village community is making this film available to everyone for free to honor our dear teacher and inspire viewers to walk the path of mindful living: https://youtu.be/mkJLqq6j0Ic

It premieres at 1:30am on January 22 in Vietnam time, exactly 1 year after Thich Nhat Hanh's passing. (On most other continents it is January 21 – 10:30am PST / 1:30pm EST / 7:30pm CET.) The film will be freely available to view at any time after the premiere.

The World is a Process in Motion

Do you want to improve the world?
I don't think it can be done.

Tao Te Ching, Verse 29 (translation Stephen Mitchell)

In last night's Dharma Talk, Thomas read this verse from the Tao Te Ching and spoke about it. This text is very challenging because many, including many of us, do want to improve the world.

"The world is not a separate object. It is always interacting with us. In trauma, a gap is created between me and the world. And then, out of this separation, I begin to create concepts for improvement.

The more connected we are with the living flow within us, the more the world is not an object out there, but the world and I are in an interdependence in a resonance field. I am then in resonance with the developmental energy of the world, of another person, of an organization, of a society.

Because the world is not something static that needs to be improved. The world is a movement, not an object. The world is an intelligent process that is in motion."

Hej alla, jag har talat med Studiefrämjandet ang att ordna en studiecirkel alt ett evenemang i samband med en grundkurs i omställning på Lidingö den 30-31 januari. Om det ska bli en cirkel (för att få finansiering av kursavgift 1000 kr) krävs ett åtagande om tre ggr med uppgifter mellan. Jag ska diskutera detta med Sofie/Pella, kanske man göra ett format där vi ses en dag och sedan tar en digital uppföljning? Annars blir det ett evenemang - och då kan de ordna allt med marknadsföring, anmälningar osv och bjuda in i en större krets. Nu behöver jag bara veta - hur många av er är säkra på att ni vill vara med? Jag räknar till fem - s*x personer , skulle en dag plus digitalt förändra detta?
