I’m traveling light and will only take ONE essential oil with (I know, big step 😆).

She is known as the Swiss knife of aromatherapy, because it’s very versatile (+ pretty much no contraindications): officinal (or fine) lavender 🪻💜

If you could only take one essential oil with you, which one would it be?

Now let’s see how I manage with only one oil over five days 🥲😅

Is it just me or September hasn’t been a bit rough this year 😅

It’s been a bit of a physical roller coaster: excitement, tiredness, back pain and on the verge of getting sick 🤧

So we’re not pushing through (right 😅😉) we’re resting when we can and transitioning into autumn 🍂 as well as possible, with the help of some essential oils. There are of course many more you can use but I found these two very helpful at this time.

September reset 🍂

I love summer but I have a soft spot for September… I’ve always been a ”back to school” girl. Do you also feel September is like a second new year?

So. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want Green Moon to be and how I want to show up here. Turns out I have a lot of things to say 😁

Aromatherapy is of course still at the heart of it but I don’t want this to be another account telling you which essential oils to use for this or that.

I want to continue sharing my professional knowledge (with the occasional controversial opinions ✌️) and an ethical, safe, personal and FUN way to use essential oils. And I want talk about several other things:

About scents and fragrances and their healing properties for the body and nervous system.

About living seasonally, rituals and cycles.

About pleasure as part of well-being.

About women 🔥

And about ultimately finding out our way back to ourselves.

So September fells like the perfect time for a reset and bringing that into my practice, both in 1:1 and in groups. Can’t wait to show you what’s coming in autumn (the calendar will be out soon I promise 🙏)

It’s the little things. And the bigger things.

Listening to your body, the seasons, using the good stuff every day and finding what brings you joy 🔥

Here are some of the things I do.

What I wear (of course)
The food I eat
The decoration
The ritual and festivities
The energies
The moon cycles
My own cycle

Life is cyclical, so are women. There is so much power, balance and wellbeing by following nature and your own body.

The nice dishes
The good lingerie
My favourite jewellery
The beautiful perfumes and oils

Life is too short to leave the good stuff in the cupboard for a special occasion that rarely comes. It needs to be used, seen, enjoyed! Every day is an already a special occasion.

I have a few different fragrances for different occasions. All very me and all from natural ingredients.

Scent is one of the easiest way to awaken all of your senses and bring sparkle in your life.

This is one of my favourite things to do for myself.

The silence, the sea, the warmth and being both in my body and my mind.

Instead of doing it once in a while, I book a time in my calendar once a month for it.

Getting a massage from someone is great but you don’t need to be a professional and you can give yourself a nice massage.

Light a candle perhaps. It’s your me time!

My favourite are: face massage in the morning and womb massage before going to bed.

Something that used to almost be a chore became a pleasure and non negotiable.

I removed the things that didn’t bring me joy and I’m left with a little ritual that wakes my body and my mind:
- Tai chi movements and a little yoga
- warm cup of tea and a candle
- short meditiaton with an essential oil chosen after what I need just that day
- a tarot card sometimes
- and a little face massage with my rose oil after shower

Ok not all the time, all the time but a lot. Ah the joy of wearing a nice red, pink or orange on my lips 💄

Here is my best advice as an aromatherapist 🔥

The safest and easiest way - but still very efficient - to use your essential oils for emotional support and wellbeing is just to inhale them!

The only three ”things you need are:
⚗️a high quality essential oil
👃your nose
🕝 3 minutes (or more!) of undisturbed presence
…. Now just inhale the fragrance from the bottle

And that’s it!

Sometimes it doesn’t have to be so complicated 🤗

What if your perfect perfume doesn’t exist… yet?

Maybe your signature scent isn’t on a perfume shelf. Maybe you have to create it.

For the third year in a row, I’m hosting my Create Your Own Natural Perfume workshop: an evening of scent, creativity, intuition and a little botanical magic.

We’ll explore around 80 natural essences: citrus, flowers, woods, herbs, spices and resins and learn how to work with top, heart and base notes to create a balanced and long lasting perfume.

We’ll also talk about the emotional and therapeutic side of essential oils because a perfume can be more than something that smells good.

And then you get to create: smell, blend, adjust, follow your intuition. And I’ll be there to guide you if you need to.

You’ll leave with your own 30 ml natural perfume, created entirely by you.

No experience needed. Just curiosity and an open nose.
