A little small business reality 🤍

On Instagram, we often see videos of small businesses packing hundreds (sometimes thousands!) of orders at once. And while that’s incredible, it can make you feel like that’s what running a small business is supposed to look like.

But for so many of us, the reality looks a little different.

This week, we got 2 orders — and we were genuinely SO excited about them. 🥹

Because behind every order is a real person choosing to spend their money on something we’ve created. And that will never feel like “just” an order to us.

So here’s to celebrating the 2 orders just as much as the 200. 🤍

And to everyone who orders, follows, shares, comments, likes or tells a friend about us — thank you. Every little bit of support means more than you know.

Before you buy another serum, take a look at your cleanser. 👀

Your cleanser is the foundation of your skincare routine. If it’s too harsh or not suited to your skin type, it can contribute to dryness, irritation and a compromised skin barrier—making it harder for the rest of your skincare to do its job.

✨ A few things to look for:
• Sensitive or rosacea-prone skin: Choose a synthetic fragrance-free cleanser, avoid cleansers with high amounts of essential oils and allergens.
• Dry skin: Look for cream cleansers with hydrating ingredients like glycerin, birch sap, ceramides and oat oil.
• Oily skin: Gel cleansers can work well, but your skin shouldn’t feel tight or squeaky clean afterwards. If it does, it means there is too much surfactant in the formulation.
• Wearing makeup or sunscreen? Make sure your cleanser removes it properly. Use a cleansing balm or double cleanse method is the best way to remove everything.
• After cleansing, your skin should feel comfortable—not tight, dry or stinging. If it doesn’t, your cleanser may be too harsh.
