With just a few days left to vote in the elections for the APP () Board of Directors, I want share a few more words.
If you’re an APP Business Member or a Member at Large, please make sure to vote in the Board of Directors elections. Your vote helps shape the future of the organization. Read each candidate’s bio and choose the people who reflect your values and who you believe are best suited for the responsibility of serving on the Board.
Of course, I would be honored to receive your vote, but I’m not writing this only to ask for your support. I truly love the APP, and even if I’m not voted in, I want to see driven, passionate, capable people on the Board who will guide the organization into the future. Even if you choose to support someone else, what matters most is that you participate. Our organization deserves a Board chosen by an engaged membership.
As you may have seen on the APP’s social media, the election must meet quorum (a required minimum number of votes) to be valid. If quorum isn’t reached, the entire process has to start over, which isn’t ideal for anyone, including members.
If you are a voting member you will, of course, find my full bio in the official ballot. But I also invite you to see more about the long work I have been doing for the organization in my previous posts about the elections.
