HYROX RIGA 2026

Time to share a few reflections after this race.

I signed up for this race after realizing that qualifying for the World Championships was a goal for the future, not for this season.
So I chose a race before summer in a location that was easy to reach.

I would have loved to race in Rimini too—the atmosphere looked incredible, and let’s be honest, the Aperol Spritz didn’t hurt! 🍹😄

Before the race I felt tired in a while, never sure about taking the start, and thinking just passing the finish line.
So I was ready to race without expectations… but, by racing with THIS mindset, I have learned a lot…

• Managing the stress
• Focusing on the race, not the clock
• Visualizing every detail
• Trusting the work already done
• Stay humble, always
• set the mindset, and actively drive your thoughts to the direction you want to go

What can go wrong?
• Maybe I lose some time. That’s okay.
• No matter what happens, I will cross that finish line.
So, nothing can go really wrong, at the end…

These are skills I’m building step by step, and this journey is teaching me so much about myself.

To resume, what is the key: only the MINDSET!

Sometimes, when you least expect it, a new PB happens... as it was for me.
But it isn’t what I write about.

A special thank you to my coach for supporting me: having structure, guidance, and clear goals makes all the difference.

A special thanks to the friends I shared some great moments with: and .
And a huge congratulations on your podium finishes—I haven’t achieved that yet, but your performances were inspiring!

So, keep going forward, on easy and hard moments 💪🏼 and never stop learning 👊🏼

This is worth a post! 🤩

Today I found out that our gym, Actic in Årsta, has had the most PT hours in our region in 2025 (around 10 gyms in total!).

And you know what? I’m the only PT at this gym… so… wow.

I owe a HUGE thank you to all my clients. I’m so proud of every single one of you! I know your stories, the effort you put in (both past and present), all the laughs we share, and all the progress you’ve made — even the progress you don’t always see yourselves.

I believe in you, just as you believe in me ❤️

I’m also incredibly grateful for the atmosphere I get to work in every day: a gym where everyone is welcome — all ages, all levels — whether you’re a beginner or experienced. It took me some time to fully realize it, but our gym is truly a place where you’ll always find smiles and friendly faces.

A special thank you to my irreplaceable colleagues, Maria and Josefin!

And thank you to everyone who joins my group training sessions — you know they reflect my way of training 😜

You all know how much sport means to me, how much effort and commitment I put into my job, and how deeply I believe in a healthy lifestyle — in every sense.

Never stop training.
Never stop dreaming.
Never stop loving life.

HYROX MALAGA 2026 – The Trip 🇪🇸

What is travel without a race? 😜
Just a vacation… and we don’t really do vacations, right? 😭
Well, I try to combine both actually 🤪

Once again, sport took me somewhere new.
A beautiful place discovered thanks to racing, an amazing friend by my side, exotic parrots flying between palm trees, and three incredible locations: Málaga, Marbella, and Puerto Banús.

Four days that felt like a full week.
Honestly, we couldn’t have done more.

We sailed on a catamaran, explored nonstop, and of course—I even squeezed in a quick outdoor workout.
And yes, I’m still surprised that people are surprised to see a strong woman training.
It’s 2026 😭😭😭… not 1926.
There was a time when marathons were only for men. For God’s sake, we’ve evolved.
Great-full about all those new things. It feels like the race was a short moment compared to all of this!
Art, history, food, nature, culture, sea…and people!

Grateful for this adventure 🤍
— without you, I wouldn’t have experienced all of this ❤️💛❤️

MY WEEKLY REFLECTION

Cherish the normal days.
It’s often the hard moments that remind us how beautiful those busy and ordinary days truly are.

Finding joy in them is the real key 🙏🏻

HYROX COPENHAGEN 2026 🇩🇰

Another solo Pro HYROX race in the books for me.

Having my best friend by my side—cheering, waiting for me at every stage—was honestly unbelievable. That support means everything. ❤️

As it’s knowed, I decided to race in the Pro category… and wow, I’m really feeling that decision at every single station 😂

I actually started this race unusually relaxed. My mindset was simple: I have nothing to lose.
But those sleds… they are ALWAYS heavy! No matter if my back gets stronger or I work more on upper body strength… they feel exactly the same every time!
On the bright side: my wall balls felt amazing 🙌
Still not sure why the first run was four laps instead of three… but anyway…
The level in the women’s Pro race was incredibly high. Truly impressive.

So now the big question:
Am I stuck at this level, or is there still another step for me to unlock?
Maybe it’s time to ask for some help with my training.
Maybe I’m expecting too much from myself.
So many questions running through my head…

But one thing is true: it was FUN.
And the race was an amazing event.

The best part? Since the race was short, I could spend the rest of the weekend in Copenhagen exploring beautiful contemporary architecture with my best friend—someone I love very much.

So, I’m grateful for the luxury of living a life like this 😜

The weekly reflection: I REFINED MY WORK PURPOSE

I usually say I work in the health field as a personal trainer.
Yes — I help people build healthier routines.

But this week I refined the purpose of my work.

A man — I would say not young anymore — came to me asking for help. He has always been a runner, but injury after injury his body started saying “no,” while his mind kept saying “go.”

He came to me with a dream: he wants to run a half marathon again.

He trusted me with his goal, his determination — and honestly, I was scared. How could I help when every doctor told him to stop?

Then we trained together… and he surprised me: he could do much more that I have expected, and probably much more than what he was expecting too!

Why is surgery often the only solution suggested, when strength training, prehab, and rehabilitation can rebuild the body and overcome serious limitations?

This experience made me realize a few things:

1️⃣ Many people believe doctors can simply fix their problems — the easy way out. Unfortunately is not like this, people!
Only a few are truly willing to do the work required to recover. My client told me clearly he is ready to give his full effort. Wow.
And don’t let anyone define what you can or can’t do. Make your own choices, and ask for help if you need it.

2️⃣ I realized my job is to help people achieve their dreams (what a romantic version of my work!). But the truth is: I no longer have the patience or time for those who expect me to “fix” their bodies. I walk hand in hand with my clients — but they must be willing to walk the path too.

3️⃣ And enough with “I want a body like that one.”
Don’t chase a certain look. Build the body that allows you to do what you want.
I’m not here to motivate you: you need your own purpose, and you will have my full support!

I ask my clients to commit to themselves as much as I commit to helping them reach their goals.

Set the goal — I’ll be there with you, with my best smile!
And every time is getting hard, I will remember you that this is what it takes for chasing a dream!

EASY PLYOMETRIC EXERCISES FOR RUNNERS!
Once a week is enough 👌

👉 3–4 rounds of:
• 12× box jumps (side to side, stay low!)
• 20× par side - jumps over the pole (back)
• 10× par side - back kicks
• 20× par side - jumps over the pole (front)

💡 Focus on reactivity, control and light contacts.
Strong legs = better running performance ⚡️

The challenge: take your best friend with you: I took Matteo 😸

Today, 19 January, a milestone in my evolution:
I finally went past my 95 kg deadlift and reached 102.5 kg 🏋️‍♀️🔥

Yes, for those who have lifted heavy their whole life, this might feel “easy”.
But for me — who spent the first 35 years focused mainly on conditioning (and long distance triathlon!)— starting heavy weightlifting has been (and still is) a real challenge.

And that’s why I celebrate every single step I achieve.
Exactly like I celebrate every step my clients achieve with me 😊

Training one thing at a time makes life smoother.
My current challenges are:
• short & intense races of strength and conditioning
• long & resilient ones

So… good luck 🍀 trying to fit 1–2 sessions/week of all this:
• 1× running intervals
• 2× swimming
• 2× upper body
• 1× heavy legs
• 1× plyometrics
• 1–2× CrossFit
• 1× Olympic weightlifting
• 1× long run
• 1× Hyrox
• 1× yoga
• 1× indoor cycling
• handstand practice
• recovery 🤪 ???

🥵🥵🥵🥵

Sometimes I feel it would be easier to stop thinking in 7-day weeks and start thinking in 10-day cycles instead!
And is not lucking on focusing on one single thing, is that my vision of training is holistic. And if when I was younger I was looking to add kms on my training, because my body allowed it, now at 42 yo I’m looking to what my body really needs!

I still have the video of my very first deadlift ever, back at PT school (on 2020 i think…).
63 kg 😭

Yes, I would probably progress faster if I focused on one thing only. But this is not the point.
The point is TO EVOLVE, doesn’t matter the speed!
And I truly believe that training variation pays off in life.

So I apply to myself what I believe works best:
• try
• apply
• adjust
• adopt

I love deadlifting 😊
Thank to

for the inspiring sessions
the community where all those discussions matter!

GOODBYE 2025, WELCOME 2026!

2025 started and ended in the same place — curious, right?

A year full of emotions, achievements, new experiences, competitions, people, and smiles.
But also tears and tough moments.

Work-wise, I couldn’t be happier. This was the year I truly merged work and sport — my real passion.
Is the year I really started believing in myself, trusting the hours I invested building results.

The goal list for 2026 isn’t complete yet, but I’m excited to keep growing, evolving, and building on the steps I gained in 2025.

Forever grateful for my family, friends, and all the clients and colleagues who are part of my daily life 🤍✨
