Why it has been quiet here lately. After 10 months of waiting time our little bundle of joy came into this world in th middle of January 💛 just as the whole journey birth was gentle. Pain free and unmanaged. I am so proud of myself and our little family how well we’ve journeyed through this intense phase post partum this journey continues. Gently feeling into what she needs at the same time what do I need in order to support these needs of her? I feel it’s exciting. Yes there are long night with little sleep but there are als cuddle time and sleeps on my chest with my nose dug into her little hair on the head. Smelling this unmistakable baby smell and the world just feels all good even when on the news I feel the world is falling apart. For now we’re still singing our way into this world and how we exist together. So for now no big plans on work. At least not continuously 😉 however creativity is coming back and thoughts for when leaving the baby bubble are coming up 🌷 still so many gentle things to explore 😉 by myself and with the little family 💛💛💛

This year I practiced slowing down and trusting — listened to my body, and grew two babies at once. Slow and gently 🤍🤍

This year I slowed all the way down — and at the same time built a little business. In slow motion. In feel-good time… while a miracle was happening in my body.

The year began with an incredible retreat with and becoming a somatic meditation teacher. That practice brought so much bliss — and the realization that so much I had been seeking outside of myself already lived within. Softening into sensation was the key. It felt like magic 🪄

From that softness, the name finally came: Bodyworks Gently. Lying on my yoga mat at home, it landed. From there I created the accounts, built a website, and found the energy to create alongside a nearly full-time job.

With the support of my coach .heliga.gralen , and practices from and my 12-step program, I kept asking: How does this feel in my body? Can I go slow enough to stay open?

I kept teaching yoga in Storlien, began sharing on , and recorded meditations — terrifying and joyful at once. My online classes grew more than my offline classes (not hard when you live in a town of 70 people 😂).

I followed integrity back to Mia and began my Body Love Yoga training. Little did I know someone else was already along for the ride 🍋

There were festivals, nervous system classes, Swedish-spoken yoga, illness, old layers of depression, pregnancy, and deep learning around regulation and rest. I couldn’t do it all — and that was the lesson. Thanks to .aliveyoga, ,

This year I supported clients, continued bodywork, released old pain in whombs, and grew another human — while growing myself.

Looking back at 2025, it was pure magic 🧙
I have no idea what comes next. Can’t wait what will unfold out of gentleness, slowness and the shift into a new stage in life. Motherhood.

🌟 Connect & Reflect

Finally feeling better and realizing it’s only a good 6 weeks left u til the end of the year.

Snow is falling ❄️ the nights are getting longer and up here in Storlien one of the busiest weeks of the year are soon coming up. A great moment to gently slow down and come to a journey of turning inward, reconnecting with the body, breath, and inner wisdom, while gently reflecting on the year’s experience with n community.

If the belly makes it possible 😉 the topic of the next 6 weeks supports grounding, emotional clarity, and mindful presence during a typically busy season.

Come as you are. Leave a little lighter. 🤍

💫Fix You

All those emotions.
All those things that get in the way.
All the things I’m not doing.
All the things I don’t like about myself.

The not moving forward. The not breaking through.
I don’t want it anymore.

I want to fix it.
Once and for all.

I want a practice.
I need a schedule.
A routine. A thing. Help.
I just need to fix it!

Fix it — and then it’s gone.
So I can move on and finally live the life I’ve always wanted.
The perfect one.
The one I see online. In movies .
The one my friends seem to live.

If I could only fix it. If I could only fix me.

I hear you, dear. 🤍

But what if it can’t be fixed —
that thing inside you that you can’t quite name?
Because you’ve already tried so many things.
You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, learned the theories…
and yet, “it” still isn’t working.

“It” still isn’t fixed.

What if there’s nothing broken?
And most and for all You don’t need fixing?

What if it’s about growing your capacity
to be with what’s happening inside you —
right now, in this moment.

About learning how to feel — from the inside out.
Letting the mind be what it is.
And learning, slowly and gently,
how to feel, how to be.

And maybe then, that “it” begins to dissolve…
not as a problem that ever needed to be solved nor a you that needed fixing . 🌿

🪷 Coming Home to Your Body

Do you ever feel that irritation in your body that actually gets worse when you try to slow down and rest?
That stuck feeling — where slowing down feels uncomfortable,
but keeping busy only makes things worse.

It’s a lose-lose situation.

So, the answer becomes to just keep going.
Until one day… you can’t anymore.

The body starts to scream so loudly it’s hard to ignore.
Exhaustion takes over, forcing you to stop —
you rest, sleep, and then it all starts over again.

For a long time, my body didn’t feel like my home.
It didn’t feel cosy, warm, or safe.
It felt foreign — sometimes even hostile.

And still, it was working for me.
Even though I often hated it for not doing all the things I wanted it to do.

Can you relate?
Maybe in parts. Maybe fully.

Over time, I started to build a home inside myself —
a space I actually wanted to live in.
A place I could return to when the world felt too much.
A place to rest, to create, to just be.

From the inside out.
From care and love.
From being rather than pushing or proving.

Through nervous system work, my life slowly began to change.
Peace and safety started to feel like my new normal —
not because I chased them, but because I learned to listen.

When body and mind began to feel like home again. 💛

🌊 Regulation — What Does It Really Mean?

“Regulation” — a word that’s everywhere lately.
And somehow, it feels like people think it means being calm, zen, happy, balanced, or unaffected… almost like having a poker face.

I wonder if that’s true for others — because that’s definitely how I used to feel.
Or rather, how I was raised.

It wasn’t okay to have emotions other than the “positive” ones.
And the rest? They were supposed to just… not exist.

Nobody told me how, but I learned to stuff them down — to walk over them — until eventually, I didn’t feel them anymore. Until my body stopped speaking to me.

So I thought I was balanced. Calm. Zen.
All the things I’d read about in spiritual texts.

But truthfully, I was far from that. I was spiritually bypassing.

Because what is regulation, really?

It’s not about always being calm —
It’s about being able to feel all the feels.
To be flexible and move up and down the intensity scale of feelings.
To experience the highs — and then come back to the possibility of resting and relaxation.

It’s about feeling safe even in the bigger, more challenging emotions,
without losing connection to yourself. 💛

How do you do that?
I wish there was a quick fix — but I don’t believe in that.

It takes patience and gentleness.
Learning to listen — to the body, the mind, the system — and slowly learning to trust again. Following small impulses to support the system.
So we can ride the waves of emotion, instead of fighting them.

That’s when relaxation comes — not as a goal,
but as a natural consequence of being with what is. 🌿

✨ Learning How to Listen ✨You might say — what? Learn how to listen?
I hear very well. I’ve been on this planet for xx years, and my ears work just fine.

I don’t need to learn that anymore. I need to fix this and that, run errands, somehow eat, take care of XYZ, and find a cure for my gut… I’m so stressed!

But wait. Hear me out. 👂

It might sound strange, but listening isn’t something we do only with our ears. It’s not just about interpreting what we hear through the mind — through language, culture, or meaning.

We can also listen inwards — to the felt sensations of our bodies.

In nervous system language, that’s called interoception — the art of sensing what’s happening inside.

These sensations can be big — pain, tension, discomfort — or full of joy 😉
They can also be subtle: softness, warmth, gentleness, pleasure… or the opposite.

Listening to these sensations is our body speaking.
Our system communicating.
Some might even call it intuition.

Over time, many of us lose that inner language — after years of listening only with our ears or our minds.
And with that loss comes a loss of aliveness and authenticity.

We forget how to listen — and how to respond — to what’s happening within.
We fill ourselves with things, food, or distractions to feel something… or to tune out what’s really there.

Slowly, that disconnection starts to feel normal.
It keeps us from resting, from being, from feeling creative and alive.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. 🌿

If you want this to change, it doesn’t take much.
Just start to listen.

Listen to your body.
Listen to the world around you.
Notice what it feels like inside — without reacting.

Be curious:
Aha, that sound creates that sensation. Interesting 🤔

Stay curious 👀 You might be surprised.
