Yesterday, did you actually rest?
Or did you spend Sunday waiting for Monday to arrive?
You were there — maybe out, maybe home, maybe with people you love.
But your mind had already moved on. The inbox. The meeting. The thing you didn’t finish last week.
Your body was on the sofa. Your nervous system was still at the office.
And the thing is — you’ve stopped noticing. It’s just how Sundays feel now.
But it wasn’t always like this.
There was a version of you who could wake up slowly. Make coffee without reaching for her phone. Actually be somewhere without half of her already being somewhere else.
She didn’t disappear. She’s just exhausted.
Not from laziness. Not from weakness. From a nervous system that was never given permission to stop.
It doesn’t switch off just because the calendar says it should.
But it can learn to again.
Save this if yesterday didn’t feel like rest.
