Three decades ago, I began a journey that would forever change my heart. Looking back on 30 years of midwifery, "honour" and "privilege" are the two words that resonate most.
From the UK to Singapore, Jersey to Africa and China—every birth has been a unique story of strength and hope. To the families who have invited me into their most sacred spaces: thank you. It has been the greatest joy of my life to watch you become parents and to witness the power of an empowered birth.
