- Stand with one shoulder against the wall and make sure the centre of your ear is in line with the shoulder.

- If your ear is leaning forward as compared to shoulder alignment, this means that you have a forward headed posture that can speed up degeneration of neck and shoulder as well as contributing to frequent headaches or dizziness.

Do a quick assessment and correct yourself to improve your posture before it gets fixated as your normal posture!

Home habits! 🏠

This is one of the most commonly seen habits at home when we are washing our dishes or brushing our teeth at home.

Fake or real activator

Activator is an instrument that is used by chiropractors to deliver a gentle, precise and controlled force on a misaligned segment of the spine.

Self cracking may give you temporary relief BUT,
Potential dangers of self cracking are:

1) Increased ligament laxity & joint hypermobility leading to instability

2) Muscle strain injury with exerted force or pressure leading to increased pain, stiffness and muscle spasms after a short relief

3) Blood vessel damage/vertebral artery dissection or blood clots traveling to brain increasing chance of stroke occurrence from sudden forceful movement and tear in artery wall in the neck

4) Nerve damage from incorrect manipulation/movement or forceful leading to impingement of nerve that may cause numbness/tingling or radiating pain

5) May lead to herniated/slipped disc over a period of time

Attention sofa sleepers!
