The Asia Pacific Dental Sleep Medicine Symposium, organised by Aspetar Dental Clinics, successfully held the first-ever Dental Sleep Medicine Symposium in the UAE.
The event brought together dentists, ENT specialists, general practitioners, and pulmonologists, creating a truly multidisciplinary platform to deepen understanding of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) - from pathophysiology and diagnosis to clinical decision-making and treatment options.
The symposium was led by Dr Kelvin Chye, whose clear, structured lectures bridged medicine and dentistry. Beyond the presentations, he patiently addressed questions from clinicians across specialties, fostering thoughtful discussion and practical insights that attendees could immediately apply in their own practices.
We were also proud to partner with leading innovators in dental sleep solutions, including Panthera Dental, Orthoapnea, Prosomnus, and SingBest, highlighting how oral appliance therapy is playing an increasingly important role in sleep medicine.
