On 17 May, our K9Assistance team got invited to the “Summer PAW Fest” event held at Northshore Plaza II and organised by the Punggol North Citizens’ Consultative Committee (People’s Association).

We were honoured to conduct an educational awareness talk on Assistance Dogs, sharing more on their roles and how they support their handlers to live independently. The event aimed to promote responsible dog ownership among PAW-rents while also fostering greater understanding and inclusivity towards working dogs in our community.

Residents had the opportunity to learn about the differences between our furry pet friends and trained Assistance Dogs, and how members of the public can support a more inclusive environment for handlers.

Thank you to the organisers for having us and the warm reception from residents in Punggol who took the time to learn more about the life-changing role Assistance Dogs have.

In May, the K9Assistance team was busy conducting an awareness and demonstration session with the entire student cohort at Orchid Park Secondary School. We were greeted by a welcoming bunch of staff who were eager to meet our Ambassador Assistance Dog up close.

Through the time we had with the students, we were able to cover the introduction of our charity and the landscape of Assistance Dogs in Singapore before exploring how different types of Assistance Dogs can assist their handlers. As always, our Ambassador Assistance Dog stole the spotlight with her engaging demonstration of several assistive tasks.

A huge appreciation to the Singapore team at for hosting a lunch and learn with us on 4 May at their office. We spent an insightful 2 hours with 50 staff members, sharing more about the vital work Assistance Dogs can do to support the independence of Persons with Disabilities.

We provided an in-depth sharing about the training and discipline required by Assistance Dogs with the help of a demonstration by our Ambassador Assistance Dog. Everyone then rolled up their sleeves for our dog bone tying activity, contributing to a core portion of our outreach efforts.

We wrapped it up with a delicious lunch provided by the team alongside space for curious questions and deeper connections to be built. K9Assistance is grateful for partners like Deutsche Bank who prioritise inclusion and take the time to understand the impact of Assistance Dogs in our community.

On May 3rd, we had the pleasure of joining our ADFB partner, , at their beautiful @ Cove outlet in Pasir Ris. It was the perfect Sunday afternoon spent spreading awareness about our mission and introducing some wonderful families to our Ambassador Assistance Dog.

We are also incredibly grateful to georges for helping us shine a spotlight on K9 EmPAWer Walk 2026 by launching a special 3-month outlet-specific K9 Combo Deal (Fish and Chips and a drink priced at $24.90). 50% of all proceeds from the K9 Combo deal will be donated directly to K9Assistance.

On 22 April, we were invited back to the NielsenIQ office for Global Impact Day, sharing with the staff the impact Assistance Dogs have for Persons with Disabilities.

We started with a talk and live demonstration by our K9Assistance Ambassador Assistance Dog to show how Assistance Dogs can support their handlers, before proceeding with the bone-tying activity. The staff was very enthusiastic and excited to craft these bones. Thank you, NielsenIQ, for having us again and for your great enthusiasm in supporting our cause through crafting dog bone keychains!
