Grief shows up in more places than we might expect.

It isn’t only about losing someone. It’s a normal human response to any significant loss and every loss holds a different meaning for each of us so grief can look and feel different too.

Sometimes, recognising what we’re grieving can help us better understand what we’re feeling. 💭

If something surfaced as you read this, take a moment to acknowledge it. What we grieve often reflects what mattered to us. ✨

Feeling a little more than usual today? That's okay. Big emotions are part of being human. 🫶

In those moments, there are gentle ways to find our way back to ourselves. Emotional regulation gives our mind and body a little support, so we can meet each moment with more calm.

We're sharing 3 simple practices, each one gentle, easy, and ready whenever we need it. ✨

Friendly reminder 💛
These practices offer gentle, in-the-moment support. If you're navigating something more, please don't hesitate to reach out to a qualified mental health professional.

Every emotion has a purpose. So do our responses.

There's no one "right" way; Flight, Fight, Freeze or Fawn. These are responses that we have learnt to help us cope.

The more we understand them, the better we can understand ourselves and how we'd like to move forward. ✨

What if our emotions could talk? 💬 They'd probably have a few things to clear up.

Feeling sad doesn't mean something is wrong with you.

Feeling angry doesn't mean you should ignore it. And feeling many emotions at once? That's more common than we might think.

Every emotion has something to tell us. Instead of pushing them away, what if we got a little more curious about what they might be trying to say? 🤔

Understanding our emotions doesn't mean they'll always be easy to navigate. But it can help us better understand ourselves and respond with greater awareness and self-compassion.

When emotions run high, our first reactions often come from a place of wanting to protect ourselves.

While those reactions are human, the way we choose to respond can shape what follows. 🫶

A small pause, a little curiosity, and the willingness to understand before reacting.

Successful relationships aren’t about getting every response “right”. They’re built in small moments where we:
• Notice what happened
• Name how we feel
• Accept that outcomes are jointly created; and
• Create space to talk and listen, if the other sides want to

Communication is a skill too and, like any skill, it can be trained and gets better with practice. ✨

When things feel hard, our first instinct is to keep paddling harder 🚣🏻

But resilience isn’t always about pushing harder all the time. ⛵

Sometimes, it simply means we might need a different approach, a little more support, or space to learn along the way.

So here’s our reminder that it’s okay to:
🤝 ask for help
🧭 change directions
📚 learn as you go
💡 try again differently

Resilience isn’t just about persistence. It's also about learning how to sail, not just paddle. ✨

A lot of the messages we grow up with around self-care can feel so normal, we stop noticing them. 🐟

Over time, these ideas can quietly shape the way we study, work, rest and even speak to ourselves. But self-care was never meant to be something we only earn after burnout. 🌿

It can look like:
💭 recognising when we need rest
🫶 setting healthier boundaries
🌱 allowing “good enough” to be enough sometimes

Not because we’re giving up, but because sustainability matters too.

Re-thinking self-care isn’t about avoiding challenges or responsibilities.

It’s about noticing the “water” we’ve been swimming in and asking ourselves if it’s truly helping us thrive 💙

If you asked Solaro what we've been up to during (kind)mind... 👀

From feeling h(ear)d to slowing down with our furry friends, (kind)mind gave us little reminders to care for our wellbeing.

And if there's one we'd love you to take with you, it's this: support, connection and knowledge are always there when we're ready for them. 💙

(kind)mind may be wrapping up, but the conversations don't have to. 💬

Which reminder will you be taking with you? 🌱

Sometimes, the best walks aren't about getting somewhere.

🌿They're about taking in what's around us.
👀Pausing when something catches our eye.
🐾Moving on when we're ready.

Our furry friends have a way of reminding us to slow down, notice the little things, and move at a pace that feels right for us. 💛🐶

The chicken didn’t just cross the road. He came with a little peck of wisdom.

Listen in.🐓🔊

Animals are naturally present, playful, and paw-fectly at ease. They go about life one peck at a time and honestly, we’re taking notes.

Fur us, that could start with a deep breath, a slow walk or a little more of what helps us feel at ease.

What’s one step you’re taking fur yourself today? 🐾
