Healing goes beyond medical care.

Through our Healing Arts Wall, we are transforming waiting spaces with meaningful artworks that inspire comfort, connection, and hope.

Created by local artists, each painting reflects personal stories and lived experiences, reminding us that healing can take many forms.

Next time you’re at Eunos Polyclinic (Level 4), take a moment to explore the Healing Arts Wall, on display exclusively from June to December 2026. You might just discover a story that resonates with you.

International guidelines recommend the use of oral bisphosphonates (oBP) for up to five years in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. However, benefits and risks of extending oBP therapy beyond this duration remain uncertain.

Researchers from SingHealth Polyclinics conducted a systematic review to determine the health outcomes (bone mineral density, fracture risk) and adverse effects (atypical fracture, osteonecrosis of the jaw) of extended oBP therapy beyond five years among postmenopausal women.

Their findings concluded that substantial heterogeneity and limited high-quality evidence preclude definitive conclusions regarding extended oBP use in postmenopausal women. While extended treatment may improve bone density and reduce vertebral fractures, it could also increase atypical fractures.
