The creation of this national-level award by MOH and ACMS is a beautiful testament to how far our sector has come in elevating standards of care, training, and professional excellence.

Adding to the significance of the night, we had the distinct honour of attending what was Dr Koh Poh Koon’s final event as Senior Minister of State. Hearing him speak was a poignant reminder of his unwavering commitment to healthcare, and we wish him the absolute best as he transitions to focus on his family while continuing his work as an MP.

Patient X had a fall, which resulted in a toe fracture.
She went A&E and was prescribed with CAM walkers or Moon Boots to reduce pressure and to facilitate bone healing.
After 4 weeks, imaging found the bone healed, but there is still a lot of swelling on the foot, and the patient was unable to apply weight on her foot.
Acupuncture and manual therapy were administered, and the swelling reduced significantly. She is now able to bear slight weight on her foot.

We will continue to support her healing, and we wish her all the best on her road to recovery.
