Posted • Under the scorching heat in Sydney and the freezing winter of Japan, the Gentle Lotus serum by has been by my side, like a good travelling companion 😊 Going from extreme conditions - heatwave to snow has been harsh on my skin so I’m glad to have this serum to calm it down.

I’m celebrating International Women’s Day this week with brighter and refreshed skin, thanks to the Blue Lotus and Lily Extract complex in the serum which has brightened my skin, especially after my laser treatments.

Back in Singapore, I’m now in the sunny heat ☀️and attending International Women’s Day (IWD) events this week. This year’s theme is 💫 In my role as country head for a professional industry body, I often find it challenging to form a diverse panel. Diversity refers to not only gender but includes other factors such as ethnicity, culture, socio-economic background and age. I find it interesting that when it comes to IWD events it is common that no men are present on the panel and very few men are in the audience.

I am looking forward though to one event later this week where a man will grace the panel (: and shall we bring a man (partner or friend) to our next IWD event? 😊

Warning: Long honest post with a GIVEAWAY the end! 💋 There are multiple points in our lives when we realize something we've taken for granted.

Skincare wasn't something I thought a lot about. I was blessed with good skin, so I never bothered with makeup or even sunscreen for 2.5 decades of my life.

Fast forward to today where good genetics will only take you so far. Dark spots have begun to appear, especially living in a tropical country or embarking on adventure trips where excessive sun exposure has reminded me that it is a more powerful force. The dewy plumpness of youthful skin isn't always there, and moisturizing religiously doesn't seem to be enough to fix it. I love to smile and laugh, but now smile lines are creeping into a web of fine-lines. It is part and parcel of aging and experiencing life, but hell, I'd like to slow the process down.

I've started going to  over the last 3 months, and thanks to them I've been seeing immense improvement already. I am regaining confidence to go out into the world again barefaced.

I've been to a number of clinics over the last 5 years, but I never stuck with them because nothing seemed to work. And in some cases, it made my dark spots come back with a vengeance. I especially appreciate that the people behind EternelleV do not push a particular product or treatment for the sake of hitting sales targets, and instead have been working specifically to figure out my skin's real needs for the short and long term in an honest way.
