Prostate cancer signs & management: Prostate cancer is cancer that develops in the prostate gland, a small gland below the bladder in men. It is common in older men and often grows slowly. Early prostate cancer may cause no symptoms, so screening and risk-based evaluation are important. Advanced disease can cause urinary symptoms, blood in urine or semen, bone pain, weight loss, or weakness.
