Taking good care of your body after Bowen can help to maximise its effects. Are you drinking enough water? Allowing time between sessions for your body to integrate? Not sitting for long periods of time (especially if your back is an issue)? Moving around regularly? Stretching? What you do after your Bowen session can matter.

Some of my clients are beginning to report the return of neck and back pain and some people are experiencing new symptoms of body pain during lockdown. No doubt these are due to being less active and also to the fact that we are all holding on to a lot of tension in our bodies without realising it. We are living in extraordinary times and our bodies are experiencing all our emotions too!

So make sure you look after yourselves - walk everyday, get lots of fresh air, eat and sleep well. And don't worry about being productive - it's OK not to be able to concentrate at the moment. Be kind to yourself!

Yes! I'm missing being able to treat you all and also missing having someone treat me during these strange times of lockdown. But are you finding positives in having more time at home? Cooking, reading, chatting to friends you haven't spoken to for months?
