🌱 Growing an inclusive future, together. 💜

We’re excited to announce our partnership with The Circle for Human Sustainability (TCHS) to bring the AMGD Enabling Garden to life at Enabling Village.

Together with Reta Social Enterprise, the project aims to create an inclusive and accessible edible garden where persons with disabilities can gain training and work experience, while the wider community can learn more about food, sustainability and inclusion.

We officially kicked off the partnership with a briefing and site visit for six Certified Permaculture Designers. The designers have now been divided into two teams, who will develop their proposals as part of a collaborative design competition over the coming weeks.

This is more than a garden — it’s an opportunity to bring together food, sustainability, accessibility and meaningful employment, while creating a space where people of different abilities can learn, contribute and grow together. 🌿

We’re grateful to TCHS for being part of this journey, and we can’t wait to see the ideas that grow from here. 💜

A meaningful step forward for disability inclusion in Singapore. 💜

We welcome the recommendations by the Taskforce on Assurance for Families with Persons with Disabilities, including stronger employment support, greater opportunities for skills development and work exposure, and more support for employers to build inclusive workplaces.

At RETA Social Enterprise and AMGD Global, we believe inclusive employment is about creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to contribute, develop their strengths and grow.

Through AMGD Superfood Restaurant at Enabling Village, we have seen the positive impact this can create. We are also excited for what lies ahead, with new inclusive employment opportunities being developed through the AMGD Enabling Garden and across our other growing business verticals.

As we expand, we hope to create more roles, pathways and opportunities for persons with disabilities to thrive.

A special thank you to AsiaOne for featuring our AMGD Service Champion Lina Lok, who has been working at AMGD Superfood Restaurant for 10 months and counting.

There is still more work to do, and we look forward to continuing this journey together. 💜

We’re honoured to be recognised with the Enabling Mark Gold Award! 💜

At Reta Social Enterprise and AMGD, inclusion means creating a workplace where different strengths come together to make the whole team stronger.

Our chefs, nutrition, operations and service professionals focus on creating great food and experiences for our customers, while our colleagues with disabilities are part of the team supporting the daily processes that keep AMGD moving — from service and packing to preparation, customer interactions and other operational roles.
Everyone contributes differently. Every role matters.

This recognition from SG Enable is a meaningful milestone for us, but more importantly, it reminds us why we started this journey: to create real opportunities for persons with disabilities to learn, contribute, grow and be part of a working community.
