Thatโ€™s a wrap on Continence Management Course 2026! ๐Ÿ’™

Three days of learning, sharing, hands-on workshops and meaningful conversationsโ€”all centred on strengthening continence care and improving outcomes for our patients.

A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers, facilitators, participants and organising team for making this course such a valuable and engaging experience. ๐Ÿ™

From urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and neurogenic bladder to bladder re-education, urodynamics, pelvic floor management, catheterisation and continence aids, the course brought together valuable knowledge, practical skills and shared experiences. Day 3 also explored bowel dysfunction, faecal incontinence and constipation.

We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed their expertise, participated actively and made these three days memorable.

Thank you for learning with us, growing with us, and being part of the SFCS community. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ What can a 3-day bladder diary tell you?

More than you might think! Your everyday habits can provide useful clues about how your bladder is behaving.

For just 3 days, try keeping track of:

๐Ÿ’ง What and how much you drink
๐Ÿšป When you use the toilet
โšก Any sudden feelings of urgency
๐Ÿ’ฆ Any leakage and what you were doing at the time
๐ŸŒ™ How often you wake at night to urinate

A bladder diary can help you spot patterns that may be difficult to remember and can provide useful information when discussing symptoms with a healthcare professional.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Record events as they happen and try to be consistent throughout the three days.

3 days. A few simple notes. A clearer picture of your bladder habits.

๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Spicy foods

Not everyone reacts to the same foods or beverages. Keeping a bladder diary can help you identify your personal triggers and make informed choices about your diet.

Small changes to your eating and drinking habits may help improve bladder comfort and support better bladder health.
