Many parents focus on nutrition, exercise and academic performance, but how often do we think about whether our children are getting enough sleep?
Sleep needs change as we grow. While newborns may sleep up to 20 hours a day, school-age children and teenagers still require more sleep than many people realise.
Yet insufficient sleep remains a common concern among teenagers, affecting concentration, mood, learning and overall wellbeing.
