I have always felt that my deltoid muscles were too weak and have been very envious of those buff guys with 'pumpkin shoulders.' When I came across this video, I was so excited that I thought, 'This time, I've found the trick!' So I practiced several times a day until I was completely exhausted. The next day at work, I felt short of breath and thought, 'Could it be that I'm getting old and my body is weakening?' When there were no customers and I had some free time, I practiced the shoulder exercises several more times. Looking at my swollen deltoids in the mirror, I thought, 'In a month, I might have 'pumpkin shoulders' too!'
The next morning when I woke up, I seemed to feel a lack of oxygen. While preparing breakfast in the kitchen, I kept trying to inhale, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get enough air. My mind was also dizzy due to insufficient oxygen. At that moment, I realized that the problem must be that my chest expansion was restricted. The likely cause was that the shoulder workouts over the past two days had overloaded my respiratory muscles, reducing the function of those muscles. As a result, my chest capacity naturally decreased. Thinking of this, I immediately massaged my serratus anterior and pectoralis minor muscles, and in less than ten minutes, my breathing became smooth, and I felt energized.
From this personal experience, I hope everyone won't follow my example and do this unprofessional and foolish thing. Becoming a muscular guy isn't an achievement of one or two days. Turning exercise into a habit and sticking to it consistently is the correct and safe way.
