Luang Phor Pleung was bron on 26th February 2481. Before he ordaining as a monk, he was a highly capable local sorcerer and traditional doctor (Moh Baan).
He is the nephew and direct lineage disciple of Luang Phor Thong - Wat Khao Pa Che and also studied sacred sciences under Luang Phor Jun - Wat Lan Sae and Moh Mun, a legendary local sorcerer whose magical prowess once kept notorious bandits at bay. As a layman, he volunteered to lead sacred village rituals, read fortunes, build shrines, ward off bad luck, and provide holy water baths to heal the sick.
Luang Phor Pleung officially ordained as a monk on 15th July 2558 at the age of 77 years old, after spending decades raising his family and serving his village as a traditional lay doctor. His ordination ceremony took place at the chapel of Wat Suan Node in Phatthalung Province.
Since the very first day of his monkhood life, Luang Phor Pleung has vowed never to wear shoes. He walks completely barefoot everywhere, regardless of how rough, rocky, or burning hot the ground is.
- Hoon Pa Yoon -
The story of the Hoon Pa Yoon is one of the oldest and most fascinating chapters in Thai occult lore. Dating back centuries—and even mentioned in early Buddhist texts and ancient Siam animism—the word "Hoon" means a puppet or effigy, and "Pa Yoon" means something brought to life through sorcery. Essentially, a Hoon PaYoon is a magical golem or spiritual "shadow bodyguard" animated by a master monk or sorcerer to protect and serve its owner.
In Thai folklore and classical literature (such as the famous epic Khun Chang Khun Paen), Hoon Pa Yoons were originally created out of necessity during times of war. Warrior-magicians would pick up every day natural materials—like straw, grass, bamboo, or soil—and quickly tie them into small human-like figures. Unlike Kumanthong (which are treated like spirit children that require affection and feeding), a Hoon Pa Yoon functions like a disciplined, supernatural soldier.
To create one, a master monk invokes the four core elements: Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire, alongside the 32 physical attributes of a living being. Once activated, the Hoon Pa Yoon is given a direct spiritual command—usually to keep the owner safe from physical harm, thieves, and fatal accidents. It is believed that if someone attempts to send a dark curse, an evil spirit, or "floating sorcery" (Lom Phay Lom Phat) toward you, the Hoon Pa Yoon will intercept the attack and take the full spiritual damage on your behalf, keeping you entirely untouched.
