🎾 New to padel? Your enthusiasm might be ready for four matches a week… but your body may need a little more time.
Padel involves quick changes of direction, lunges, overhead shots and plenty of repetition. For beginners, increasing your playing hours too quickly can place demands on muscles and tendons that haven’t had time to adapt yet.
The good news? A few smart habits can make a difference. 💪
Warm up with purpose, build your court time gradually, choose the right footwear and racket, add strength training off the court, and give your body enough time to recover between sessions.
And if that little ni**le keeps coming back, don’t just keep playing through it. 👀
