This piece is photographed on one of the beautiful plants available through our collaboration with Little Botany, whose collection shares our love of natural forms and thoughtful curation.

“I haven’t worn jewellery in this piercing for years.”
One of the most common questions we hear is: “Do you think it’s still open?”
In this case, the answer was yes. Despite not wearing jewellery in her navel piercing for many years, the channel remained open and we installed jewellery again.
Not every piercing will stay open indefinitely, but well-healed piercings can sometimes surprise you. The longer a piercing has been healed before jewellery is removed, the better the chances that it may remain open for years.
The best part? A piercing you thought was long gone can be given a completely new life.
For this appointment, we added a decorative charm to create a more elevated look while maintaining comfort for everyday wear.
Sometimes all it takes is the right jewellery to fall in love with an old piercing again.

Sometimes the best way forward is starting over.
This client originally got an outer conch / contra conch piercing elsewhere, but came to us for a second opinion when the original angle and placement did not create the look she wanted long-term.
Rather than trying to make it work, we chose to remove the jewellery while the piercing was still fresh, allow the area to rest for about a week, and then repierced with a placement better suited to her anatomy and the desired final result.
You can still see the original piercing site beside the fresh piercing here, with clear space between them. By her one month check-up, the original hole had already gone to the point where it was no longer visibly noticeable.
Piercing placement, angles, and anatomy matter far more than most people realise. Small differences can completely change how jewellery sits, heals, and flows with the ear.

A lot of people want a curated ear, but don’t want it to feel crowded or uncomfortable.
For this appointment, we added two fresh stacked lobe piercings and updated the existing daith and helix jewellery to create something more balanced, beautiful, and easier to wear day-to-day.
The goal wasn’t “more”. It was balance: jewellery that works together, feels intentional, and still feels exactly like her.

Fresh hidden helix piercing with lab diamonds set in recycled yellow gold.
Some people become very red immediately after a piercing, especially with cartilage piercings, and this is completely normal. Skin sensitivity, circulation, adrenaline, and even temperature can all affect how flushed an ear looks right after the appointment.

We’d kept this piece in the studio collection for a while, waiting for the right ear for it. Worth the wait✨

Nose anatomy is never perfectly symmetrical, which means matching nostril piercings often shouldn’t be perfectly mirrored either.
We approach nostril piercings with the same mindset as ear styling: balance, proportions, healing, and how the jewellery will feel months from now, not just on piercing day.

Somehow, Eir is already turning 6 months old✨

What started as an idea has slowly grown into a space filled with beautiful people, trust, conversations, jewellery, plants, and moments we could never have imagined when opening the doors!

On the 15th of May, we would love to celebrate that with you!
Throughout the day we’ll have curated jewellery drops, drinks, styling conversations, jewellery installations, and a few small surprises with some of the things we love.

Doors open from 11AM–7PM at 42A Club Street.

If you are hoping for a piercing appointment, styling session, or jewellery installation that day, we highly recommend booking in advance as appointments are already starting to fill up.
