Food Surplus Hub Slovenija project aims at reducing food waste by collecting food surplus (from producers, restaurants, stores, etc.), then preparing meals with it and delivering it to beneficiaries (e.g. FSH’s mission is also educating people by spreading knowledge about sustainable living, with emphasis on sustainable food. The FSE Hub in Ljubljana is driven by Food for Life Global, an international humanitarian organisation based in Slovenia. We are a new Hub, established in October 2015, so are busy building our local network, and creating the connections between each other, here in Ljubljana and Slovenia. Hub has co-organised first Slovenian Conference on Food Surplus with Slovenian Government in January 2016.
