Europe knows how to innovate. Now it needs to speed up. 🚀🌍

Yesterday at IEDC – Bled School of Management, MESI was recognized among Future500’s Future 100 Slovenia, identifying 100 Slovenian companies with the strongest potential for global growth.

And this is not just another ranking.
More than 203,000 Slovenian companies were screened, with 603 high-growth companies assessed across 7 dimensions and 19 indicators, looking beyond growth at financial strength, international presence, R&D, innovation, leadership, responsibility and the strategic relevance of their sector for Europe.

No applications. No self-nominations. Just data, performance and potential.
But identifying companies with potential is only the first step. The bigger question is how Europe enables them to scale.

At the Future 500 Forum, MESI joined founders, investors, financial institutions and policymakers to discuss exactly that, including at the Founders Roundtable moderated by Charlotte Taft from Pan-Adria Partners, and in a closed session with SPRIND, represented by Andreas Zaby.

The message was clear: Europe has the innovation and talent. What it needs is speed, a truly functioning Single Market, regulation that enables innovation, and capital ready to back European companies as they scale.

At MESI, this matters to us.
We started in Slovenia. Today, we are taking Integrated Diagnostics to healthcare systems around the world.
Our ambition is global. But we create in Europe. And we are staying in Europe. 🇸🇮 🇪🇺

Thank you Future500, IEDC – Bled School of Management, Stjepan Orešković and Bled Strategic Forum for bringing the right companies, capital and decision-makers into the same conversation.

September is PAD Awareness Month. 💚

Did you know that an estimated 113 million people aged 40 and over worldwide were living with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) in 2019?

That is why, for us at MESI, PAD awareness is more than a slogan. It is a mission we support through innovation in early PAD screening.

Awareness is the first step. Earlier detection can help people receive the care they need sooner.

What can vascular ageing tell us before cardiovascular disease becomes clinically apparent?

This September, the conversation continues at ARTERY26: Innovations in Vascular Ageing, bringing together clinicians, researchers and industry experts working at the forefront of arterial function and cardiovascular science.

MESI will be joining the international community in Split to exchange perspectives on vascular ageing and showcase how digital diagnostics can help bring advanced cardiovascular assessment closer to everyday clinical practice.

📅 24–25 September 2026

Will you be at ARTERY26? Come and meet the MESI team in Split.

New technology should not simply fit into existing workflows. It should make us question them.

Sven Jungmann, MD, PhD, challenges one of the most common questions we ask when introducing new technology into healthcare.

Maybe the better question is not “How does this fit?” but “What could we do differently?”

A new milestone for connected diagnostic workflows. 🏆

MESI mConnect v1.2 has passed VA DICOM validation testing and is now listed in the VA’s VistA Imaging report.

Reliable exchange of diagnostic data is an important part of efficient, connected care. This successful validation provides additional confidence in the technical foundation we are building for healthcare organizations and their clinical teams.

‼️Please note: Listing in the VA’s VistA Imaging report reflects successful DICOM validation testing and does not constitute endorsement by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

🌬️ A spirometry result is only as good as the manoeuvre behind it.

Spirometry looks simple: patient blows into a device, numbers come out. But the accuracy of the data depends entirely on how well the manoeuvre was performed: full inhalation, a fast and complete exhale, no leaks, no early stop, no coughing mid-blow.

Get the technique wrong, and even the best device will hand you a result that misrepresents the patient's actual lung function.

This is where in-test guidance and adequate training change the outcome - by giving the healthcare professional what they need to coach effectively, in the moment.

1️⃣ Live cues showing effort, flow, and technique as the patient blows, so they know exactly when to prompt "keep going" or "harder".
2️⃣ Built-in quality indicators, so the clinician knows whether a manoeuvre met the criteria before moving on.

The result: fewer repeat tests, less patient frustration, and more trustworthy data going into the chart.

🎉 Introducing the 1,000 MESI mTABLET Club! 🌍

Recently, our CEO Jakob Šušterič introduced the 1,000 MESI mTABLET Club to the company, celebrating countries where more than 1,000 systems have been activated.

Current club members are:
🇦🇺 Australia
🇳🇱 The Netherlands
🇫🇷 France
🇪🇸 Spain

Behind every activation is a healthcare team using digital diagnostics across a broad range of measurements, from ECG, ABI, TBI, and SPIRO to many more, supporting smarter, more connected patient care, whether through a single-module setup or fully integrated diagnostic systems.

A huge thank you to our partners, customers, and colleagues who made this possible. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone and excited to see which country joins the club next!

What if the next step in prevention isn't more testing, but better connected diagnostic information?

Preventive care increasingly depends on understanding risk before disease develops. Yet no single measurement tells the whole story.
As healthcare moves towards earlier risk identification and more personalised prevention, connecting diagnostic workflows, measurements and clinical data becomes increasingly important.

In our latest article, we explore how Integrated Diagnostics can support this shift by bringing clinical information together to support better-informed decisions.

Three different clinical settings. Three different teams. The same decision.

Over recent months, the MESI mTABLET ABI has been activated at:
✔️ Endocrinology and Diabetes Center, Al Ahsa with Boston Scientific
✔️ Diabetic Foot Clinic, Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group – Al Rayyan, Riyadh with the Diabetic Foot Association and Dr Abdullah Arabe
✔️ Saudi German Hospital Makkah

What connects them isn't the technology. It's where the technology now sits.

Vascular assessment used to mean a referral: a separate department, a separate appointment, a wait. In each of these projects, it happens in the room where the patient already is: endocrinology, the foot clinic, the ward. That's the shift worth noting. Not a new test, but a shorter path to it.

Our thanks to the partners and the clinical teams who made each of these possible. 👏

Where does vascular assessment sit in your organisation today? Down the corridor, or across the city?

Podiatrists may spot peripheral arterial disease before anyone else does.

A wound that won’t heal. Cold or discoloured skin. Diminished pulses.

These everyday findings can signal a serious vascular problem—before a routine foot issue becomes limb-threatening.

ABI testing gives podiatrists objective data at the point of care, helping them:
✅ Identify at-risk patients sooner
✅ Make better-informed, timely referrals
✅ Monitor vascular health—not just symptoms

Podiatry is a vital frontline in cardiovascular risk detection. With the right tools built into their workflow, podiatrists can act earlier and help protect more limbs.
