Wujiquan
Pojem čínske bojové umenia v sebe zahrňuje množstvo rôznych škôl, štýlov a línií. Znamená to len toľko, ž

e Vonkajšie štýly majú bližšie k filozofii budhizmu a taoistické štýly zase k filozofii taoizmu.
1. telo ozdravujúce a život predlžujúce cvičenia
2. telo budujúce cvičenia
3. telo posilňujúce cvičenia
4. sebaobrana
Okrem foriem sa vo wujiquane vyučujú wude (tj. morálne princípy), wuji neigong (vnútorné cvičenie), medicínska prax- naprávanie kĺbov, bylinné recepty, atď., wuji umenie tlakových bodov a rôzne zbrane. Wujiquan
The term Chinese martial arts itself involves a lot of different schools, styles and lineages. Essentially, all of the Chinese martial arts can be divided into two main branches, which are so called Internal styles or Buddhist styles and so called External styles or Taoist styles. It doesn’t mean thou, that all the practitioners of External styles are Buddhists and all the practitioners of Internal styles are Taoists. It only means that External styles have closer to the philosophy of Buddhism and Internal styles have closer to the philosophy of Taoism. Here we need to emphasize the word philosophy, because martial arts do not necessary have a connection to religions. We would need a whole lecture to explain the differences between External and Internal styles in detail. In short we can say that External styles are characterized by speed and hardness, while in Internal styles fast movements alternate with slow movements and hardness is conquered by softness, but softness and hardness are complementary, which means that we can find hardness in softness and softness in hardness. To the naked eye, External styles may seem more dynamic, the movements have wider range and seem to be harder, on the contrary, Internal styles may seem slower, more gracious and softer. It should be noted that both styles have much to offer, it depends what one is looking for. Wujiquan is an ancient system of Internal martial arts. If we want to trace its origin, we must begin with the book of Yijing. Yijing describes actions in nature and laws of these actions. Yijing has been compiled during many generations, its essence is the observation of phenomenon’s that are happening in human body (microcosm) and in our surroundings (macrocosm). All of these phenomenon’s have some laws according to which they behave and which we can discover by watchful an aware observation. In this process it is essential to get to know our own body, get to understand it, make it stronger and healthier. Wujiquan is based precisely on these principles, which are healing our body and prolong our life, building our body, strengthening it and also learn how to defend it if necessary. According to the tradition this system was developed by the Taoist ancestor Zhang Sanfeng. Wuji is one of the five Taoist arts that were thought only in family or in monastery. It was past down in the family of Master Wu Zhenshi for six generations. In wujiquan there are empty hand forms, weapon forms (short stick, broadsword, sword,…) push hands (wrestling in Internal martial arts), sanshou (free fight), neigong (internal exercise), pressure points techniques, health exercise, etc. Great emphasis is put on push hands, which is the basic for the free fight. Long term practice of wujiquan has positive effects on your health. It can prevent and control high/low blood pressure, diabetes, different kinds of stomach and intestines problems, problems with joints and spine… Wujiquan is suitable for all ages and genders.

Dear friends, today begins the lunar year of the Water Tiger. On this occasion, we are launching our project Pathways to Balance, which we have worked on intensively.
Pathways to Balance will become a platform where people will be able to get acquainted with various paths leading to balance, both in man himself - the balance of body, soul and spirit, and between man and his environment - the balance of heaven, man and earth.
One of the pathways is Wujiquan.

Detailed introduction of our project can be found on: www.cestykrovnovahe.sk .

We wish everyone balanced and inspirational year of the Water Tiger!

My vám hneď vo štvrtok pošleme odkaz, prostredníctvom ktorého sa pripojíte k on-line stretnutiu.
Všetkým želáme vyrovnaný a inšpiratívny rok vodného tigra!

Dear Wujiquan friends, New Year has arrived; on behalf of International Association of Fumin Wujiquan we would like to wish you all the best in the Year of 2021!

2020 was a year of great challenges and trials; it has put our cultivation in test and gave us opportunity to express our warrior spirit. It was time of deep reflection; it was time of reevaluation of what is important in our lives. It was time of countless nameless heroes who fought a battle against an invisible enemy. They are all in our hearts and they deserve our deepest respect!

In past year our Wujiquan family did the best stay on the path of Virtues; Respect, Patience, Compassion, Righteousness, Goodness and Letting go seem to be more important than ever before.
Our efforts to spread traditional Wushu and Chinese culture where not interrupted and we will continue in them in 2021.

We sincerely wish everyone lots of strength, willpower and health!

May peace settle in every heart! May all beings be happy!

New online course-Qigong for offices and sedentery jobs
(so far only in Slovak language- let us know if you would like to have it aviable in English too:)).

This course is designed specifically for people who work in the office, spend long hours sitting, who lack movement, and who are exposed to stress on regular basis.
The aim of the course is to learn techniques that improve blood circulation and oxygen supply to the brain, improve attention and eliminate fatigue. Regular practice reduces stress, strengthens health and increases overall well-being.
Sitting in front of a computer for a long time causes problems with the cervical spine, shoulders and lower back. These exercises effectively prevent the emergence of the so-called occupational diseases, and help to address problems that have already arisen.

These exercises are based on ancient Chinese life and health cultivating techniques, the movements are easy to learn, it only takes a few minutes to practice and they do not require much space. The results appear after a short time of regular exercise.

What are we going to exercise:
• Hands and fingers
• Bottom of the pelvis
• Self-massage of head, face and eyes
• Spine and neck
• Shoulders
• Feet and toes
• Internal organs and emotions
