The Sierra Leone Association of Public Health Students (SLAPHS) was officially Launched on Saturday 4th December 2021 By the Honorable Minister of Health and Sanitation Dr. Austin Demby, PhD, MPH at the University of Makeni (UniMak) Auditorium. Other Dignitaries from different Governmental and Non Governmental Organizations were also present to Grace this Occasion. @ The Minister in his Keynote address encourages Education for young people as it is a major task in the development of this country. He also encourages and emphasizes on working together as a team to see that our dreams are met. Other Speakers were Dr. FRANK BAIDEN, Dr. Mame Awa TOURE, Dr. Carol Labor (Dr. Carol), DrPH, MS.Ed, BA , Dr. Ronald R C- Marsh and Doris Bah

SLAPHS has developed Application forms for both executive and intending members. The forms can be acquired through various unit heads on sale. Once your registration is accepted, a membership certificate will be issued to you by your unit head, you will be added to the SLAPHS national forum and you will also be eligible to participate in all SLAPHS activities.
