Nosebleed (Epistaxis) causes & management: Epistaxis means bleeding from the nose. Most nosebleeds are anterior epistaxis, commonly from Little’s area / Kiesselbach plexus on the anterior nasal septum. Most cases are mild and stop with correct pressure, but heavy, recurrent, posterior, traumatic, or anticoagulant-related bleeding needs medical evaluation.

➟ Bleeding from one or both nostrils
➟ Blood may drip from the front of the nose
➟ Blood may trickle into throat
➟ Dizziness, weakness, or fainting may occur if bleeding is heavy.
