EXPOSED: Accountant and Tax Consultant Thabile Sibandze assisting Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini and entire JC religious cartel to evade tax, rewarded with R50million annual security tenders.

MBABANE: Thabile Sibandze, an Accountant and Tax Consultant is the businesswoman behind the alleged manipulation of documents including invoices to assist members of the influential, powerful and politically connected Jesus Calls Worship Centre (JCWC) evade tax, a high level investigation conducted by this Swaziland News has uncovered.
Sibandze holds a senior position within the JC church and, is managing finances for the Headquarters of the religious cartel established by Bishop Robert Kasaro of Zambian origin, the cartel is allegedly harvesting billions of public funds and centralizing wealth among members of the JC church.
It has been disclosed that, businesswoman Thabile Sibandze has been assisting companies owned by removed King’s Interpreter and senior JC member Pastor Sihle Dlamini, Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini, Bishop Robert Kasaro, businesswoman Marina Henwood and others within the church to manipulate audit reports with an alleged intention to evade tax worth millions.
Documents obtained by this publication in the midst of this investigation suggest that, businesswoman and Tax Consultant Thabile Sibandze subsequently established a security company known as “Haven Guard Security”, her company is providing security in Parliament and the tender was delivered in a ‘silver plate’ by senior JC member Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini through her ‘hand-picked’ Clerk to Parliament Benedict Xaba, a token of appreciation for assisting her and senior members of the JC manipulate documents and, evade tax.
As a result, Haven Guard Security has over one thousand (1000) security guards across the country and the security company linked to the JC religious cartel, generating about R50million annual turnover, provides security at the Eswatini Water Security Corporation (EWSC) where senior JC member Jabulile Mashwama is the Managing Director, Parliament, Sihle Dlamini’s Eswatini Scaff (Pty) Ltd and other private and public companies where senior JC members hold powerful positions of significant trust.
An independent investigation conducted by this publication further uncovered that, on or around 20th September 2021, Marina Henwood who owns African Drums Events Management (Pty) Ltd, a company allegedly linked to the JC religious cartel, was arrested and subsequently charged with tax evasion, she appeared before the Mbabane Magistrate Court.
But Marina Henwood’s arrest was not an isolated criminal or tax evasion case, the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) subsequently launched another high level investigation and/or lifestyle audit targeting the then King’s Interpreter Sihle Dlamini, Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini and almost all senior members of the politically connected JC religious cartel and this, was subsequent to a discovery suggesting that, millions of public funds were circulating among members of the JC but, with limited tax returns filing and/or declaration for purposes of tax compliance.
Efforts to seek a comment from businesswoman and Tax Consultant Thabile Sibandze proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report, her cellphone rang unanswered when this publication tried to reach her on Monday afternoon.
But Ntobeko Dlamini, the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) Director-Marketing and Communications was contacted about the alleged tax evasion investigation into then King’s Interpreter Sihle Dlamini and other members of the JC cartel and responding to this Swaziland News earlier she said, the ERS does not comment on clients tax information.
“The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) is legally and ethically bound to protect the confidentiality of all taxpayer information. As such, ERS cannot disclose, discuss, or confirm the tax or customs affairs of any individual, company, or entity in the public domain”, said the ERS Director-Marketing and Communications.
Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini is alleged to have made an arrangement with the ERS to pay the outstanding taxes in installments after being caught evading tax.
The JC religious cartel allegedly loots more millions within the Ministry of Home Affairs where Bishop Robert Kasaro’s wife Prince Lindiwe is the Minister, the cartel through businesswoman Marina Henwood’s African Drums Events Management (Pty) Ltd, allegedly looted about R100million during the recently held King Mswati’s forty (40) years on the Throne and birthday double celebrations.
